The seller

DNAHelper is provided by Victor Wickström, sole proprietorship in Denmark, postal address Søndre vagt 21, 3500 Værløse, Denmark. The business is currently not VAT-registered and therefore has no CVR number. Contact: .

The service

DNAHelper is an educational tool that analyzes raw data files from consumer DNA tests locally in your browser and shows genetic traits and research associations.

No medical service

  • DNAHelper does not provide medical diagnoses, advice or treatment recommendations.
  • Results are based on scientific associations that are probabilistic and change over time.
  • Never use DNAHelper as a substitute for healthcare professionals. Medical decisions should always be made with a doctor or genetic counselor.

Free period

New users get 24 hours of full access starting after a successful analysis. The period requires no registration, email or payment card and never converts automatically into payment.

DNAHelper+ (subscription)

  • Price: 39 kr per month in Sweden, with local prices in SEK, DKK, NOK, EUR or USD — the current price is always shown before purchase.
  • Account is created via passwordless email sign-in (one-time code); payment is handled by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.
  • The subscription renews monthly until you cancel it in the app's billing management (the Stripe customer portal).
  • On cancellation you keep access until the end of the paid period — no partial period is refunded on ordinary cancellation.
  • The free period never leads to automatic charges — the subscription starts only if you actively choose to upgrade.

Right of withdrawal and refunds

  • Under EU consumer rules you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the purchase of DNAHelper+.
  • To withdraw, contact within 14 days — state the email address you signed in with. We refund via Stripe.
  • The right of withdrawal applies even if you have started using the service.
  • Refunds are handled by Stripe and appear on your account within a few banking days.

Your responsibility

  • Only upload DNA data you have the right to use (your own or with explicit consent).
  • Do not use the service to make medical decisions without professional advice.
  • Do not upload someone else's genetic data without their explicit consent.

Third-party services

Sign-in is passwordless via email (one-time code). Stripe handles payment and subscription on purchase of DNAHelper+. DNA Chat is optional; if you consent, questions and relevant genetic variants are sent to external AI providers — currently DeepSeek (China) and NVIDIA-hosted models (USA) — which process data outside the EU/EEA. See the privacy policy for details.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". We are not responsible for decisions made based on the results.

Complaints and dispute resolution

  • If you have a complaint, contact us first at — we answer within a few working days.
  • If we cannot resolve the matter you can as a consumer turn to Center for Klageløsning, Nævnenes Hus (Denmark) or your local consumer authority.
  • You can also use the EU dispute-resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
  • Danish law governs the agreement, subject to the mandatory consumer-protection rules that apply in the country where you live.
